I did not do the abov...I also had the same problem. I did not do the above as I did not see sqldeveloper.exe under Apppath in registry.<br />But I fixed the problem differently.<br />Simply run the batch file sqldeveloper under C:\Oracle\sqldeveloper\sqldeveloper\bin.
